I tried the Apple Pie with Puff Pastry from Baran Bakery, and it was fantastic! The flaky, buttery crust was a great twist on the classic. The recipe was clear and easy to follow. I’ll definitely be making it again!

The taste of the batter is exceptionally good. I made a rookie mistake with my first batch, filling the batter to the top of the muffin tin. It resulted in some overflow while baking. I corrected it when I put in the second batch, only filling the tins about three quarters. Overall it is a good recipe yielding tasty, vanilla muffins that you can eat or send as a gift.

I don’t love it for cupcakes just cuz sometimes they sink when they cool but if you do make it, it should make about 35ish cupcakes.

I would recommend my vanilla cupcake recipe instead though, you can make a double or triple batch of those if you need a bigger quantity.

This is a fantastic recipe! They turned out so fluffy and just the right amount of sweet. I didn’t get a nice muffin top on them, but I know that was on me. I skipped the rest and cut corners on the baking at 425 because I didn’t have time to wait. As well, I didn’t take the time to read the whole post and since the step to add the sugar on top was left out of the actual instructions, I forgot to add it 🙁 But even so, the texture and flavor is so good, and the top is still yummy despite being kinda flat (again, my fault not the recipe’s). I am going to make these again, but next time I won’t do it when I’m in a hurry, and I might use a jumbo muffin tin rather than a standard size one just to see what happens!

Really enjoyed this recipe – they were unbelievably rich, fudgey and more-ish. I had a couple of mishaps but despite putting them back in the oven to cook a bit more (I prefer my brownies chewier!) but they were still lovely.

Absolutely one of the best cake recipes I think I’ve ever used so elegant fluffy and moist. I almost always make 10 inch cakes and I have made this recipe several times and it never disappoints. It is now my go to recipe. I thank you so very much.
